Pros
A work day for everyone is 10 hours 9 hours if you subtract lunch. This is great if you are hourly, if you are salary then sorry because they are clock hawks. The industry is pretty cool and you get to work with a lot of nice people. There are some really interesting types of paper, for many different applications.
Cons
Every company seems to know how to cut your benefits and here they are not the exception. I am pretty neutral about this, however I am sure you can assume not everyone is. When a company starts doing less for its employees, it begins to show in work ethic. When you have employees that have been there for over 10 years it can be hard to accept these changes when you know what better is. As far as management goes, you tend to get the feeling that you are beneath them if your a woman or of another race. The office can have very backwards thinking. Most woman are doing clerical work, and the professional diversity is "very" non-existent. You also get that, management is trying to stab you in the back feel. Overall communication is poor here. They are all talk about getting you more money for sales jobs. I would give them a 30/70 on following through. I would not recommend someone starting a career here. Especially if you are looking for something that is entry level. You will gain experience, but not the right kind. I could go on about the con's but I think the general perception has been given.
