Pros

I had no marketing experience at all when I came to Cityside Distribution. I really applied myself during the training process, and I’ve moved up quickly within the company over time. I think it’s important that any business recognizes and rewards hard work, and I’ve been fortunate to land with a good company in that regard. I hope to advance to management in the near future.

Cons

I’ve only had positive experiences working with Cityside, so it’s tough for me to think of any real negatives. Management seems to anticipate potential problems and address them quickly.

Pros

I have made many of my closest friends by working at Cityside Distribution. The team here is incredibly close. Frankly, I was initially worried that it would be a hard group to break into because everyone already knew each other so well. However, the whole group is unbelievably welcoming. Now I look forward to the weekly team nights with excitement!

Cons

There are sometimes issues because of the competitive nature of our work. Fortunately, everyone’s friends with each other, so we work through things easily. It’s all about collaboration and compromise.

Pros

The opportunity for growth is amazing. I went in for an interview about three months ago. Got a phone call from the nicest girl, she told me I'd meet her when I came in for the interview but instead there was another female at the front, that had a name similar but not the women I spoke too. The hiring manager/owner was super nice in the interview, felt like he had a lot of hope in me if I started with their company!

Cons

If you are someone that doesn't have kids, spouse, relationship, and love husltingthis is the place for you. They fail to mention in the interview that you'd be working 80 hours or more a week, you don't get your nights or weekends. If you aren't doing up to pare with the quote they no longer care about you and even if you are ringing what like to call "bell" you don't even get rewarded or recognized for doing well. Instead the boss has his favorites that he only recognizes. They lie about countless things its a little crazy and the longer I work there the more I realized that everyone is just out for themselves and it has nothing to do with team work.
