Pros

I worked in several startups over the years, and is my fourth year with Citruslabs. What sets this company apart for me is the founders' commitment to transparency. They are open about the company's financials, offering employees a clear view of where we stand financially. This transparency offers trust and gives everyone more accountability, again fostering pride in our work. I also love that the founders give feedback often and frequently check in with everybody. We’re a remote team, but I feel that I have the support I need, especially from the founders. And I would describe our culture as one that balances operational excellence with a genuinely supportive environment. The company empowers its employees and encourages autonomy while readily supporting them. This includes shoutouts for individual achievements and constructive advice for improvement.

Pros

I've had a fantastic experience working with this company for 2 years. Our manager is incredibly understanding, communicates clearly, and is always open to providing additional training when needed. As a small CRC team, we work cohesively and support each other consistently. The flexible scheduling and overall understanding here ensure a healthy work-life balance. It’s refreshing to be part of a team that values both productivity and well-being. Honestly, it's one of the best companies I've worked for.

Cons

None, no complaints at all.

Pros

Remote work afforded autonomy, the base salary is (was) decent, selling a product that is needed, the founders generally receptive to product feedback

Cons

Overpromised job offerings - three weeks of PTO became two, quarterly in-person outings become one annual in-person, "equity" was never provided despite advertised, agreed-upon compensation and performance improvement plan was abruptly changed 2 months into the year. Unreasonable quota (that no one has hit), product doesn't deliver/customer satisfaction lacking, lack of direct communication from leadership - passive aggressive undertones and avoiding confrontation. Accusing employees of lying about their efforts without providing evidence. Cut one employees salary by half with no warning.
