Pros
Strong pay, benefits, ability to build your professional network, and take ownership of projects.
Cons
Constant turnover in leadership. The bank has undergone immense restructuring since 2023, impacting the entire organization. There is no long-term stability in leadership. Someone picks up the torch, establishes new strategy and leadership underneath them, they leave, then cycle repeats. Anyone who has been with the firm for 2+ years has witnessed it.
There is a significant amount of broken and inefficient processes. Leaders who have been with the firm for decades know this exists and they let it stay that way. These individuals are what are wrong with the company. It is systemic brokenness and results in individuals not wanting to take ownership.
You will be working in multiple systems that do not communicate with each other, resulting in redundant work.
Valuable experience, but I cannot in good faith recommend that someone join.
