Business outlook
Pros
The attitude of "customer success" is very prevalent within the company, so if you run up against a roadblock, using that magic phrase opens many doors.
Cons
In Customer Advocacy, there were no real opportunities for advancement unless you were willing to relocate to San Jose. Benefit costs increased substantially every year, but there were no raises to be had. Reorganization happened every 6 months, so I never had the same boss for one full review cycle. Management was constantly trying to justify the existence of our group by adding supplemental job tasks to the job description, but failing to recognize and evangelize the inherent value of our core deliverables.
