Pros
*Impactual Work *Mid level management and lower level people are really great to work with *Great Flexibility. You can definitely work at any time *No fourloughs!!
Cons
*It's not a democracy, so never ever think for a second it is. It is a command control system, so don't let them fool you by saying it is not. When the decisions come from the top, very little input comes from those on the bottom *Cisco is somewhat too much of a fiscal conserative company. In this environment, it is a good thing, but everything has a line, and they seem to have crossed that line. They seem to overpay for acquisitions and not invest enough in the employees they currently have. They always say they want to be the leader or benchmark, but when you need funding for a project, or cuts in discretionary spending happen, they state that they are just following industry standard.. somewhat ironic. *Career advacement is too much determined on who you know, than what you do.
