Failing company, poor engineering practices, and terrible management - Maintenance Technician Cirkul Employee Review

Supportive and collaborative team that genuinely wants interns to learn and contribute. I had the opportunity to work on real marketing and content projects and see how campaigns move from idea to execution. People were approachable, helpful, and willing to answer questions or give feedback.

Honestly did not encounter any major downsides during my time there. The pace can be quick at times because the company is growing, but that also makes it a great environment to learn and gain experience.

Easy work in a chill environment. Rules weren't enforced and laziness was encouraged.

After the layoff the Manager left to help usually spent the morning after wandering in 1-2 hours after shift start in the bathroom for an hour. He might come greet his team at that point before taking an hour lunch. Followed by a 30 minute bathroom break, I timed it. They shut down the Salt Lake plant on a Thursday morning (possibly violating the Warn Act) and told staff that they would get severance information the next day or by the following Monday. Monday they emailed and said the board hadn't approved anything else. A professional company would have had that in hand at the layoff. But Cirkul promises a lot and delivers nothing.
