Cons
The issue is the co-workers you are dealing with; such as the bartenders, bar backs, bar porters & cocktail waitresses. They are the rudest & most negative people. Customer service is non existence, on a daily basis I see customers cuss out the staff for being so rude. The thing that the staff doesn’t understand is that, you should no be respectful to people because you want a certain outcome… you should be respectful to people because “ITS YOUR JOB” … you are in the service industry, regardless of who you are outside of work you need to be respectful inside the job. These people always have attitudes with there coworkers, cuss at people, decide who they want to share tips with and who they don’t based off there feelings instead of work ethic. They don’t care if it’s your first day, if you don’t know everything they will get irritated and pushy with you even if there’s no customers. I mean for sake, it’s circus circus, it’s not the busiest place on the strip so there’s no need to be this frustrated. I think a lot of the people that work here let a lot of the negativity that people bring in eat them up and they become very negative themselves. I’m not expected to be babied by any means. I believe respect is the bare minimum, I don’t care if you think, well it’s a bar so that means respect goes out the window. If you have any self respect you would understand that respect is something at all levels in the work place. Now outside of work if you are a different type of person, that’s totally up to you and you can deal with the consequences, but inside a professional establishment, you have follow the code.
