Pros

Their office is within walking distance of many downtown Buffalo attractions, including the Unemployment Office.

Cons

There's a lot to say about Circuit Clinical, all of which is factual. Empirican Group LLC (d/b/a Circuit Clinical) began through START-UP NY, and has been in business for over three (3) years. Over that period of time, they've taken millions of dollars in both government and private investment capital, and have yet to produce anything of business value, let alone regional economic value. They claim to develop software for clinical trials, yet they employ no software developers. They've pivoted their core product an incomprehensible number of times, burning through exorbitant amounts of cash in the process (NYS residents: money, in part, taken directly or indirectly from your taxes), yet they still lack a discernible identity and, most importantly, a viable product. No one really knows what Circuit Clinical does, because Circuit Clinical isn't sure what Circuit Clinical does. Due to their lack of revenue and tenuous understanding of capital management, they're struggling financially. As such, they've faltered from their promise to "bring software development jobs to Buffalo", and have resorted to unethical, spur-of-the-moment, Draconian-style layoffs of core staff, which includes terminating several senior-level employees without notice, and cancelling their benefits (health, dental, etc.) the same day, in an effort to conserve money. Really great stuff.

Pros

I loved the company and what the CEO stood for. It made me believe that they were going to be doing good in this world with new diseases and we would help find new medicines.

Cons

They got rid of me with a bunch of lies. They said I betrayed the HIPPA which I didnt do. I worked on a Diabetes Study and the patients got a A1C Kit sent to their house and the patients would ask if we would know the results and I asked a couple of managers and they said no. The patients, Circuit Clinical would not know what the results are. BUT in my termination letter it states that I sent the A1C results to my personal email which is kinda weird since we dont get the A1C results. I did all of my visits via Circuit Clinical's email server so nothing was sent to my personal email. then I come to find out that they are firing a whole bunch of people which is sad.
