Pros
Easy entry, free movies, snack discounts. You can become a manager super easily (just show up and do the normal workload for a few months). Very diverse staff (all races accepted, all genders + non-gendered accepted, disabled accepted with zero discrimination given or tolerated). It’s always entertaining simply bc of the people hired. We’ve had some really really great staff and some very interesting, unique staff I was glad I’d met. Decent starter job, I’ve worked worst. I’d recommend this job to a high school student. Sounds cool to your friends lol.
Cons
High turnover. Those who stuck around for a long time acted they were managers when they weren’t. Then didn’t wanna listen to the newer people who actually became managers. Some young and naive new people became managers for no good reason and proceeded to make many mistakes while also playing dictator. While some managers were good leaders and efficient, most were simply bad at actually managing people and solving problems. Btw, it’s like a dollar raise for management. Their “progressive” hiring could actually just be hiring anyone who is willing to apply. There’s been stoners smoking on the job, people with horrible temperaments, people who won’t work at all. They play favorites when giving hours. Raises are a quarter after a year. Even working in the kitchen is still $16 an hour. Management cuts corners and degrade food quality constantly to save a buck.
