Pros

I worked for CTI for roughly 5 years and when things were good, you had a lot of independence, good opportunities for overtime, and could always learn something new. A lot of the people I worked with were excellent humans and worked hard. Definitely a unique thing to be apart of. Excellent work life balance and good benefits.

Cons

Safety is a complete back seat, especially if the owner wants something done. You're breathing in toxic chemicals all day long, as well as literal carcinogens, ventilation tests failed repeatedly and got swept under the rug. Continous bad changes in management pushed a lot of great employees away and created an extremely toxic work environment. Pay was really quite low for what is skilled, dangerous labor. The owner is a passionate guy, I'll give him that, but he's extremely bipolar and wants to micromanage every single detail and still have things done the way he developed, despite years of experienced individuals implementing new technology and new processes. You never know when he may explode on you. The product, while unique and interesting, is extremely expensive and is more of a "huh that's cool" factor than anything else and the company hadn't grown in years and years. They have one large customer and if that customer ever leaves, the company will be down the drain.

Pros

These place is full of innovative people with a strong commitment to R&D. Passionate, solutions-focused and hardworking people do well here. Founder is passionate guy committed to changing world. It may sound corny, but he believes it.

Cons

There is a lot of business development customers and custom R&D, so much of the revenue can be complex and time consuming to execute. It's a not a good place to coast and hang out. People who don't pull their weight won't make it.
