      Pros

      Employees treated decently. Promotional opportunities, though some had to leave to get it

      Cons

      C-staff was a bit removed from operations. By a bit I mean fully. Everything was financial driven. No thought to product from the top. Middle management ran all product decisions. Near the end a CTO did try to get involved, but scrambled all of the organization and rendered it inefficient by matrix managing the entire engineering group and put an absolute moron in charge of staff.

      Pros

      The chance to get some exposure to a high tech company that also interacts with some big players. Their clients are well known, and the accounts are fairly substantial. Also, free sodas!

      Cons

      The lack of upward mobility is pretty bad, I have seen a few people not get the chance they deserve. Also, if you are young and highly energetic, this is not the place for you. No offense to Chordiant, but it is a place where most people are already married with a few kids. If you are looking for a fast-paced, high growth atmosphere, then look elsewhere in the Silicon Valley.
