You learn a lot about how to run a business. From marketing, hiring, firing, setting the standards at the hotel for staff to achieve and maintain. Employees and guest can be wonderful meet lot of new people.
Cons
Long hours usually in limited service hotels you have very little levels of management so you are on call 7 days a week 24 hours a day the hotel never closes
