Pros

- The associates and managers are wonderful people and amazing to work with. Gained a lot of experience and made some solid connections - The experience was good since you're basically thrown into the deep end and either sink or swim. You learn quick - Lots of opportunity for teamwork and collaboration - Good dental benefits

Cons

- Low pay with high expectations - Upper management takes big raises and bonuses while associates and managers are underpaid - No overtime pay but lots of overtime hours - Poor work/life balance (expected to always be available) - VERY high turnover -- staff that leave are replaced slowly if they're replaced at all, leaving people to scramble to pick up the slack - Inflated titles and random promotions in title only (why do this!?) - Day-to-day practices are not held to industry standards - Family and friends are hired instead of qualified candidates - Too many clients for too little staff, causing people to burn out - Staff are frequently shuffled from client to client or team to team - No HR manager ( because she "noped" out after one month) - Office location is barely TTC accessible and the commute is brutal - Upper management seems really good at "faking it" but not really good at "making it"

Pros

ChizComm is a dynamic place to work where you get to wear many hats. There is a team approach from the top down and the executives are just as involved as any other team member in helping to meet goals, providing clients with excellent service and creating an environment where everyone takes on challenges and wins together. There isn't a feeling of layers or levels, of course there are managers and executives but you always have a voice, have direct access to anyone and everyone in the company. Lots of visibility and opportunities to shine. No drama or petty politics.

Cons

Heavy workloads. Work/life balance can be tough.
