Pros

The employees (staff- NOT management) are wonderful. Very intelligent professionals that care deeply. Benefits and pay are at or below market value. Looks good on a resume but I think that’s changing as the perception of this place is changing in the field (providers know it’s not a good place to work).

Cons

Management is not great, its clear to everyone that they prioritize money over mental health of employees, demand late evenings, and do not consider the individual needs of the provider. When you first start working here you will feel lucky to have the job, but that will fade as management grills you to “get more clients” and “work more hours”, making you feel isolated with increasing stress levels and no perception of care from your company.

Pros

Some very smart minds working here

Cons

- Extremely toxic work culture - Senior Leadership have no strategy. They chase good PR to the detriment of the health of their teams. - All power stems from the top. It changes like the wind and is not anchored in the mission or evidence. If you are not kowtowing to the leader, you are let go and without any respect to what you have contributed. This can be seen in the C-suite changing constantly over the past year. - Resource allocation prioritizes senior leadership salaries, which negatively impacts delivery of programs and services. This also illustrates to anybody wanting to invest or fund that it is not a good place for ROI. - Extremely high turnover is a reflection of toxic HR and senior leadership.
