Pros

The Chicago Workers' Collaborative is leading important social change work for in the labor rights movement. The employees and leadership are great at what they do.

Cons

The structure is very top down and hierarchical which seems counter-intuitive considering the movement. There are not many employees but a lot of work to be done.

Pros

If you like to advocate for the rights of others this is the correct place. This is a non-profit organization that helps the community by providing legal resources. It is truly rewarding if you enjoy helping others.

Cons

There is a noticeable amount of nepotism and favoritism within the organization. The Executive Director does not seem to have the necessary qualifications to perform the role effectively as well as other managers. Also, Confidentiality is not properly understood or respected in this office, and overall professionalism is lacking among certain staff members.
