Pros

- Sales techniques - Trip opportunities

Cons

- Extreme hours. Wanted you to work for about 40-60 hours a week. - Little pay. Since it's all commission based, and door to door sales, most weeks were $200-300 weeks. - Toxic work mindset. If anyone ever claimed they were tired, drained, wanted to quit, they taught others that business ownership lifestyle wasn't for them. They were weak minded, not hard workers, etc.

Pros

I worked previously for another direct marketing firm before I came on board with Chicago Solutions. What I love about this company compared to the other guys is the level of care they put into their team. I used to view having a job as just busy work, something you have to go to everyday so you can pay your bills. I’m excited to come to work at Chicago Solutions every day because I’m helping my team grow, I’m learning new ways to teach the sales and marketing systems, I’m getting in front of the room, and I’m getting out of my comfort zone by talking to new people on behalf of the client. The management training program has helped develop my leadership skills. The entry level production is B2B which involves people skills, and learning marketing systems and utilizing sales techniques. The face-to-face aspect helped me go from an introvert to an extroverted person with confidence in what I do for the client and the client’s products. With selfless dedication to hard work, to your team, and to your goals, anyone can and will find success here. I will be completing the training program by the end of the year in 2018 and will be opening up my own office in the Saint Louis market.

Cons

I was somewhat used to the long hours before I ever got into direct marketing because I worked in the restaurant industry. I can understand how others may find it to be a negative and the grind at the entry level is mentally challenging! However, nothing in life is easy and hard work is necessary to achieve big goals.
