Pros

A really great company to work for, great corporate atmosphere, great leadership who listen and accommodate. There is ample room to move up and leadership is quick to accelerate employees who excel. This place is just big enough to provide great benefits and expose employees to advancement opportunities . However, it is just small enough to allow your work to make a significant impact. You feel like your work is appreciated and is important to operations.

Cons

It can get hot in many parts of the facilities in summer.

Pros

Not many pros at all: there's always work to be done and a lot of overtime pay. Benefits include 1% profit sharing and Medical and dental.

Cons

Owner/upper management don't care about their employees - you're just a number to them. Absentee point system simply sucks - you can get fired after accumulating a low number of points. Even being late by a couple of minutes will get you points! If you're sick for more than 2-3 days, a doctor's note will not matter unless you've worked there for more than a year. Work schedule sucks - start times between are between 3am - 6am. Work conditions are terrible - the place is not clean at all (you have four-legged friends working along side with you). You have very old equipment to work with that breaks down often which you're responsible to fix. Very little to no training. Hourly pay is simply terrible. Location of the job sucks - you're pretty much late all the time due to freight train traffic. When working overtime - your supervisor is not there working with you! Night shift doesn't do anything and first shift does all the work. There's no supervision at all for the night shift.
