Pros

Disclaimer that this is my personal experience at a relatively large organization with many departments, and I tend to keep a low profile around upper management so can't speak as much to that aspect, but everyone who has supervised me has gone above and beyond to help me succeed here. My work environment among my team and department feels supportive and welcoming to me. I appreciate the ongoing training opportunities and collaborative work environment. Everyone I've worked with has seemed genuinely interested in providing the best support and resources they can for clients and I have grown and learned a lot in my time working here. I have noticeable trauma symptoms from how I've been treated by management at past jobs, and I'm doing my part to heal from that outside of work too, but I just love that I have supervisors and coworkers who understand and appreciate the strengths I bring to my work and believe in me enough to give me extra support when I need it.

Cons

The paperwork will be a steep learning curve if you have ADHD, or are scared of paperwork because your old boss used to bully you relentlessly about it, or struggle with time management or organization or executive function in any way. It seems to become more manageable as time goes on though. Otherwise, just your standard nonprofit industrial complex issues - navigating bureaucracy, funding limitations, people genuinely encourage work-life balance and PTO policies support it but it is still hard to actually do.
