Pros

Chipotle is nearby- if you don't get sneered at for getting lunch.

Cons

"Lie, cheat, and steal. It's the Chewy way" - Member of Chewy Management Certain members of management reward disturbing and disruptive actions by employees that will further their careers. They will do this even if it means it gets in the way of actual production of work. "We tear you down and then build you back up" - Member of Chewy Management Member(s) of the team knowingly haze new employees that they either regret hiring or will not succumb to public humiliation or disrespect. Certain members of management are tolerant of abusive conduct by other employees such as work interference by sabotaging one's work or withholding necessary work information. If they are threatened, they may partner up with subordinates to discredit and further isolate you. Employees in management are either unaware or most likely engaging in mobbing behaviors. Certain members of management will encourage other employees to fabricate complaints about colleagues with promises of promotion. - Instead of providing feedback you receive belittling remarks or elusive answers. - There are no minorities in leadership. - Be ready for unwarranted criticism on weight, clothing, and behaviors. - Blame without factual justification It is a toxic environment that I would never recommend to anyone.

Pros

Some perks such as pet adoption reimbursement, sort of flexible schedule, learning opportunities.

Cons

We have transitioned into the Chewy family recently and it started out promising but has quickly become quite the opposite. Management put in place to oversee the business (1 or 2 in particular) have been nothing but degrading and nasty to people - for things that were out of our hands due to direction of previous management. They did a reorg recently which had a lot of questionable moves and claimed they want to go deeper in expertise but that is not the case here. There are many people in roles that they shouldn’t be. The reorg also left many people in lower roles than what their actually doing, probably to avoid paying appropriately. We are also being held to different standards than other parts of the business in terms of the quality of output - We’re producing better but it’s still not good enough. They claim to be getting us more resources but we have not seen that yet. They hired one marketing leader but what we need is a true GM and proper support staff to execute things.not only “leaders”.
