Pros
Career in Chemonics could offer many perks starting from a competitive salary and ending with interesting projects and travels. The company offers good benefits when it comes to learning opportunities. The variety of projects can serve as a good ground for a start of a career in development.
Cons
Many if not most of the Chemonics projects suffer from favoritism, toxic atmosphere, poor management. Incompetent manipulators get promoted more often than hardworking professionals. Program interventions are not particularly effective: what goes to the reporting for donors has often little with real results. Nepotism and conflict of interests are common and not addressed properly.
