Pros

Fruit, snacks, soda, coffee, lunch.

Cons

Unprofessional and uncoordinated processes, combined with extremely poor communication across departments. There is a silent expectation to work beyond your role and capacity, with little support or recognition. Employees are treated as easily replaceable, with no real voice when decisions are made by upper management. Nepotism is prevalent, and management often appears driven by personal preference and emotion rather than best practices or industry standards. Hiring and firing is done casually, seemingly to “try things out,” with little consideration for the people involved. The work environment feels cold, inhumane, and toxic, and it left me drained and dreading the next workday.

Pros

• Innovative technology with a strong market presence. • Good opportunities to work with biotech customers.

Cons

• Workplace culture is undermined by favoritism and what feels like nepotism in promotions. Advancement often appears tied more to personal connections than merit or qualifications. • My personal experience with HR was discouraging. After raising a concern about an inappropriate religious remark from a colleague, I was surprised to see that person promoted while I was let go shortly after. This left me questioning the company’s true commitment to inclusivity and respect. • Limited accountability when it comes to handling employee concerns—serious issues can feel dismissed rather than addressed
