Pros

Good onsite management. Work isn't too stressful. Great engineering team and cross-communication with other departments

Cons

Lack of communication from Corporate (Houston, TX based). No raise in two year career so far. Took away 401(k) matching at the beginning of the Covid-19 outbreak and have not returned it with no word if they will.

Pros

They are a domain expert company. They have a niche market, and they've nailed it. Their management is amazing, and they're always working to be on the cutting edge!

Cons

Because they are a niche company, your expertise might not be useful elsewhere. They don't have a lot of good business sense either, they're more technically focused, and have been undercut by other company's more ruthless business practices in the past.

Pros

Chemineer has fairly decent benefits, including generous paid time off and holidays. They also provide educational assistance to their employees. At one point in time, there was a decent culture there as well.

Cons

The salary is usually poor, and the business itself has been slowly going down hill for decades. Lay offs are fairly common, and many people work in fear of being laid off or fired.
