Pros
Check point has a great work environment. The managers, and senior technicians are very helpful and technical. There is no micromanaging and managers are very trusting. There are training, and opportunities to grow and learn more of the product. Free lunch, quarterly dinners. Great health insurance. CP TAC is a great place to get your foot in the door. They hire new people to the industry, and it's a good for learning networking and security.
Cons
Every little thing is micro managed by the CEO and those close to him. This gives managers no room for autonomy. If you work hard, you will be used. The pay is nominal compared to the stress in day to day activities, not even mentioning what your market value is after 24 months. Check Point is cheap. You have to fight the higher ups to get devices and equipment to do your job. Considering how much Check Point makes, the fraction that goes into retaining employees and building better infrastructure for us to do our jobs in nominal if non existent.
