Pros

Flexible schedule (only in theory though not in reality) Potentially rewarding work

Cons

Horrific leadership. Is a "non profit" that is only concerned with making money. Is a "mental health" company, that not only doesn't care at all about their consumers mental health (with a lot of the higher ups especially-its their way or the highway, do not actively desire to help these people-or hear their input), but also doesn't care about their employees mental health. Micromanage to the point where every second of your day needs to be accounted for. Set unrealistic productivity standards that allow for no flexibility or fluidity in what is supposed to be a flexible position. Waste time with lectures and hyper fixate on little, insignificant things. When they waste time in a meeting lecturing people or call one with you, you are then expected to make up the missed productivity time (often an hour +) on what's supposed to be your time off. They say no overtime at hire, but repeatedly expect you to work overtime for free. Lots of passive aggressiveness, and they say one thing but mean another- which you learn from being around them. I don't even mind the actual job itself but the culture at this company is terrible, and I don't like the politics. The review from last month about the dictator type leadership has been true from what I can see, although I spend very little if any time around the CEO. I'm sure they wonder why no one wants to work here..... here's some of why.

Pros

As a Blended Service Coordinator I am very happy with the changes that has been made ever since Josh took over as supervisor. He has made working at Chartiers so much better. I feel like I am able to have my voice heard and he brings up these issues and gets results. I've had 3 different supervisors since being here, and how our meetings have changed to being a free-flowing environment where we can bounce back ideas off one another is amazing. I feel really appreciated where I am thanks to Josh and how he not only respects me as a worker, but also since he cares about his staff and clients alike. This job has helped me realize that there are others who care and others who will support you on your journey. Our job is to support our clients, and it is very nice to feel supported from your supervisor. Very flexible schedule after your probationary period. Realistic goals that can be obtained and be highlighted on by higher ups. Having monthly team outings with my team where as a team we are able to choose where we go, grow as a team personally and be able to bond with my co-workers. The clients are very nice and I love my caseload. Breakfast during meetings, which even includes dietary restrictions

Cons

The hardest part was simply figuring out what you are going to do in this job. I would say the first few months are the hardest since there are a lot of forms that you have to learn, but easy to learn after a while. Treatment Plans and ANSA's were difficult at first, once you complete like 5 of them you are golden. PTO could be better. Communication between departments is not great.

Pros

The organization is small so you are able to find great community

Cons

Management is awful from top to bottom. You are not trusted to do anything on your own and they are constantly looking for ways to I’d ditch you’ve messed up
