Pros
Fun products. Used to be very organized and training was great and effective. They gave separate hours to push product to the floor when the store wasn't open which gave you time to really focus on the customer. There are some great customers and it's awesome seeing ones who come in for the first time and their excitement. Beneficial rewards program that even employees can use.
Cons
Overspending on opening too many stores at once had hit the company hard making the worst hit on store level. Work load is completely unrealistic with the selling model. No paid holidays. No matching 401k. Work/life balance is terrible. They improved it after complaints, but only for DMs and corporate, leaving stores fending for themselves on busy weekends and after 6pm. It used to be an awesome company but as they lost money, they took cuts in the wrong places and shifted their target customer in the wrong direction. Straying away from the color coded store that customers love. Now adding secondary colors into shops, making customers have to search in 3 places for a brown bag or a gold earring. Keeping customers happy is key, but the just say yes policy is making the company lose money. The return policy is way to lenient and we have several customers a day returning used products but we have to return them. Even if they're years old. Coupons given to customers that beat out employee discounts but are unable to be used by employees. We wear the items to sell them, we should have more of a discount than the customer.
