Pros
semi flexible schedule- the management trys hard to make exemptions for people, esp if you have kids or family health concerns. also very few if any weekends.
Easy to get too, street parking, - 15 min walk from bart or 3 min from muni lines, the parking is free but fills up throughout the day, its in the mission so don't leave things in car.
FREE CHOCOLATE- all rejects are either re purpused into another product or offered to staff. YOU WILL FALL IN LOVE WITH THEIR SWEETS!
Little experience needed,GREAT TRAINING.- I had the best kitchen training I ever received working here. If you want to try a machine or method management is very capable of giving you the training or setting you up with a connection to further your career. its a small crew but everyone pulls their weight and holds other accountable. and is a great kitchen to get your feet wet in because of the individual attention you can recive from kitchen staff. Management plays music and encourages conversations between employees.
OUTSIDE LANDS- I have had the joy and pleasure working with CC for the last 7 outside lands and it is a GREAT time! its awesome to bond with the owner and management. you work two shifts and get a weekend wristband ( this was my favorite perk)!
Cons
smaller company- does not have as many benefits or thrills a larger corporation offers but makes up for it in opportunity and a very supportive management team.
some seasons are slower then others- the team doesn't let this get them down there is always something for people to do, learn, or help with.
