I was hired to work 4 -10 hours shifts but that changed almost immediately. Required to work over 60 hours a week with no comp time offered despite me asking. Still required to take PTO for any time for appointments even working 60+ hour weeks.
Salary personnel always passed over for raises for years.
During Covid they took a 5%-10% reduction in our salaries and we did not get it back. Than we were laid off for months but some of us were still expected to come into work and handle small things a couple days a week.
During microprocessor related layoffs it was the same. Laid off yet had to come in to run prototype parts for our customer.
During reduced schedule weeks we were treated like a non-exempt hourly personnel only getting paid for hours worked but was classified exempt. I thought that was a against the law.
Expected to do hourly work when union personnel were on layoff.
It didn't use to be like this until we change Plant Managers. They promoted our Quality Manager as the Plant Manager was terrible, abusive, hypocrite, dishonest, deceitful.
So many salary people quit and we were expected to their jobs as well. Years passed without hiring any one to replace them.
It was a terrible experience, seriously think twice before going to work there. Although I heard they're now moving all the work to the Kansas City Facility
