2 years ago an executive leadership team was brought in and broke the beautiful bubble that was Chain. In my opinion they have slowly but consistently ruined everything good about the company. From creating silos that terminated all meaningful collaboration and cross team working, to failing at internal communications, killing the mission oriented work culture, the ability to even work out how to get simple decisions made without asking 28 people only to give up without a result, the ability to make any difference to the product vanished. It’s pretty much impossible to establish what they want you to achieve in the next two quarters in order to demonstrate success unless you have a sales target. The sexism - rife at every level. Bro Executive leadership has a lot to answer for, it feels like they’ve seized control from the founders who used to be such motivational visionaries and now seem tapped out.
