Pros

Great co-workers, friendly, and helpful. A good place to learn, work place is comfortable. The break room has coffee and snacks available at all times and they feed you a catered meal every Wednesday and always include a Vegetarian option. They are very open to suggestions regarding snacks and food.

Cons

As an equity compensation software company that pays below the market rate for the area you would think that they would consider offering equity compensation to their own employees, especially since working all day on a system which helps OTHER companies compensate their workers makes one think of how nice it must be to be compensated an amount that directly correlates with your worth. Either management is not aware or they just are not allowed to compensate properly for hard work, overtime, or long hours. If you enjoy working hard make sure you do it because you want to. They seem to focus on praising and awarding their sales department, perhaps this is where all their resources are allocated. Although part of the strategy to align to the agile mindset the decision to break up into 3 separate agile teams did more to distance and compartmentalize and not enough was put into how to bring these 3 separate aspects of the software together.

Pros

The Help is there when needed. Definitely good to have a company that provides the help to ensure you give good support.

Cons

Some lack of training, but I believe mine was more due to need to fill the position.

Pros

-Great people to work with -Free snacks and drinks are well stocked in the break room -Free lunch on Wed. -Pleasanton location is in a nice area at a nice office building, mostly professionals and suburban nearby and lots of eating options, and walking distance to BART (though I don't think anyone that worked there rides BART to work)

Cons

-Compensation is below par -No bonus (sales and upper management may get it, but most people won't) -Company is involved in the business of equity comp, but employees don't get any equity comp -Strange implementation of agile software practices that doesn't feel agile and instead more like extreme waterfall -No promotion from within -For a software company, equipment (like computers) is old, especially when compared to other software companies -Resources seems to be focused mostly on sales, other depts get little
