Pros
Associates were great and worked hard. I loved my team and was proud of the work they did and the things they accomplished. I was sad to see how many of their problems and barriers were caused from the company and upper management (see below). The other pro, was the pay which was higher than the industry standard, but it was at the cost to the patients who were given a higher bill than necessary in order to line the CEO’s and director’s pockets instead of providing actual care to patients and bettering the world.

Working at Cepheid was an absolute nightmare, thanks to one of the most corrupt and incompetent SENIOR logistics leadership teams imaginable. If you’re hoping for a workplace that values integrity, fairness, and actual talent—look elsewhere. This company is run by dishonest, self-serving managers and directors who care only about protecting their friends while discarding hardworking employees like trash. Rampant Favoritism & Corruption At Cepheid, your skills and dedication mean absolutely nothing. Promotions and job security are determined solely by who you know, not what you do. Leadership only hires and promotes their own personal friends, regardless of their abilities. Meanwhile, they fire hardworking employees—even those who have supervisors vouching for them—just to protect the jobs of their incompetent, lazy friends. It doesn’t matter if you’re great at your job—if you’re not in the clique, you’re disposable. Constantly Changing Processes with No Communication Despite treating employees like garbage, Cepheid rakes in massive profits by overcharging customers. Instead of running an efficient, responsible operation, they waste money constantly—but it doesn’t matter to them, because they just pass the costs onto customers. They refuse to fairly compensate hardworking employees, yet they have no problem throwing away money on useless projects, inefficient processes, and protecting their unqualified friends. A Culture of Lies and Deception One of the worst aspects of working at Cepheid is the two-faced, dishonest nature of its senior logistics leadership. They will lie straight to employees’ faces, promising transparency while making secret, self-serving decisions. They create a toxic, backstabbing work environment where no one can trust anything leadership says. I spent hours each day in meetings to be berated at by senior leadership without ever being allowed to respond. Final Verdict: Stay FAR Away Cepheid is an unethical, corrupt company that punishes dedication and rewards deceit. They exploit employees, lie to customers, and waste money with zero accountability. If you value fairness, professionalism, and stability, this is NOT the place for you.
