Pros

flexible hours and holidays off

Cons

They offer a $15,000 sign on bonus to new hires while continuing to pay their long time employees the minimum base salary. They've been saying they will do a cost market analysis for raises for years. Mental health employees do not get paid remotely close to what they deserve for the amount of work they do. Their salaries are also not comparable to other medical staff.

Excellent company to work for—I’ve been with the organization for 10 years. Strong leadership, great team collaboration, and a genuine focus on supporting team members. Great benefits and compensation, and leadership consistently seeks out our input and suggestions.

Pros

Helping others- Other staff was great. Salary.

Cons

Prison staff at Hayes were not concerned about the safety of inmates or MH Staff. Program manager avoided doing her job- Would scream at other employees. Work wasn't always divided evenly. Some employees were considered favorites. Have to be tough skinned to deal with inmates.
