Pros

The people...but all the good ones got laid off with me.

Cons

Marketing sent over so many sales accepted leads and the rest of the company realized they couldn't handle 2/3 of them based on their size and workflow abilities. So they gutted marketing and removed 86 jobs, despite their proven success since the merge. Merging these companies together with no real organization was one of the worst business moves in this industry of all time.

Thank you for this feedback. Simply put this was a challenging week for CentralSquare. However, our organizational restructuring was a difficult but necessary step in making the business as customer-centric and efficient as possible, while building the right foundation for the future of CentralSquare. We did our best to treat every decision and conversation with respect, thoughtfulness, and care. We are dedicated to maintaining an unwavering focus on our employees, our customers’ missions, and our commitment to deliver outstanding service and best-in-class products.

Pros

The Proposals Team is amazing. The manager and director are supportive, knowledgeable, and fair. The team is hard-working, skilled, and friendly. I will miss them! If you are worried about the other reviews about CentralSquare, the Proposals Department has been insulated from cuts (except for a part-time position), and they try to balance the workload for job security.

Cons

It is a very large company, so there are some silos between departments.

Pros

The people that do the work actually want to provide a good product and fix customers problems.

Cons

Regular priority pivots, not fully implementing previous decisions leaving half baked processes adding overhead. Constant focus on new sales and stringing existing customers along with empty promises. Leading to shrinking headcount in the departments that do the work while sales teams grow and get larger bonuses. Following the increase use of AI and reduce headcount trend
