Pros
If you don't spend everything on drinking and other vices, you can live on it and gain experience. There is an in country coordinator who is very helpful. There is an orientation before you go to your placement. Cost of living is lower than in the USA and you get a free, if old, apartment.
Cons
$2500 placement fee first year but it covers all the paperwork and the horrible Hungarian bureaucratic slowness. Doesn't cover airfare. Some of the placements are very remote - probably good for a quiet person, introvert, etc. But they are very close to Romania, Serbia, etc so you can travel.
