Pros
Centier truly cares about their employees and offers great benefits to full time positions. Therefor, making it a positive environment! Everyone is very knowledgeable and enjoys their job. Whenever there is a problem there is ALWAYS someone there to help find a solution. Everyone at the corporate center does a fabulous job. Looking for a great company with room for growth? CENTIER. However, due to the extremely low turnover rate it's near impossible. You couldn't ask for a better president of the bank. Mike Schrage truly takes the time to get to know each and everyone of his employees. He treats everyone like family. In fact, working for Centier you will feel like you're one big family.
Cons
If you are offered a position don't be fooled by how glorious everything is on the outside. The corporate center is beautiful and unfortunately that's where they leave it. If you are offered a job at the corporate center don't pass it up! If offered a job at a branch- don't expect reliability. If you are a part time position- expect to be used BIG time. Your job is to fill in the gaps. There is a possibility of working six days one week just covering lunches. What could be better than coming in to work Monday-Saturday for only 3 hours a day? Or the following week only working two days? Expect no more than 18 hours a week. You'll need a second income to survive. Depending on the manager, they generally don't allow you to have a second job due to the fluctuating hours they schedule you. Again, that is depending on the manager! Some support, some don't. Full time positions are steady hours. You generally always know what to expect. However, hours are being cut tremendously. They do NOT acknowledge your accomplishments instead you are critiqued for your mistakes.
