Employment and benefits Centex Technologies employs both hourly and salaried team members in a variety of technical and professional roles. Full-time employees become eligible for company benefits on the 61st day of employment, and choosing to participate in benefit programs has no impact on an employee’s job status or continued employment. The company offers work-from-home arrangements when appropriate for the role and business needs, and many positions are structured for long-term growth and stability. Communication and leadership Centex maintains an open-door culture where employees are encouraged to communicate concerns, ask questions, and share ideas directly with leadership, including the CEO. Team members are expected to follow company policies, respond to directives, and communicate about workload or challenges so leaders can provide support, clarification, or additional training when needed. When performance concerns arise, the company’s first focus is on coaching and support, and only when necessary does it move to formal discipline. Performance expectations and integrity Like any professional organization, Centex expects employees to be available during scheduled hours, complete assigned tasks, and accurately report time worked. When someone consistently fails to be available, does not complete basic assignments, or does not communicate, leadership will investigate to understand what is happening and determine the right next steps. If it is discovered that an employee has been misrepresenting hours worked or performing work for another company while on the clock, that behavior is considered a serious violation of trust and policy and can lead to disciplinary action, up to and including termination. Business stability and direction Centex continues to focus on building sustainable client relationships, maintaining active contracts, and pursuing new opportunities in its core areas of expertise. The company remains committed to responsible growth, compliance with all applicable program requirements, and delivering quality services to its customers. While no organization is perfect, the overall experience of current team members reflects a collaborative environment that emphasizes accountability, professional development, and mutual respect. Centex appreciates feedback from former employees and uses it to continuously improve; however, it is equally important to correct inaccuracies so that prospective employees and partners have a fair and accurate picture of the organization.

Pros

Opportunities for advancement in education through certs and seminars. Enjoyed work culture, not extremely fast-paced, invitations extended to events in the area from the owner. Everyone was hard-working and respected others' times and commitments Very understanding of work/life balance and understanding of extenuating circumstances.

Cons

Pay was abysmal. We were paid more than minimum wage, but far less than market wages for the position.
