CP offeres a diverse place to work. Salary is fair but the people are what make this company the place to be. Since I have been at CP I have moved from phone agent up. There have been plenty of times I was given a chance to grow within the company and I believe that is due to the supervisors that I have been given. You learn by leaders not managers and that's what I have had. There are so many different people that work with me that I enjoy the experience that each person has to offer. Senior mgt seems to know what they are doing but can sometimes focus on one Client more than the other.
Cons
Sometimes we don't train our junior managers enough to get them where they need to be. Placing people in a position "just because" is not always the best thing to do. I don't like the fact that we hire outside staff because no one on the inside is fit. We need to make sure we are giving them the tools to be fit for future postions. We tend to have a bit of favortism from time to time and that does not reflect well to agents trying to move up and feel like they may not have a chance if one is given.
