Pros
There are some good-natured talented people scattered throughout the company. Depending on your management chain, you may be okay for a while.
Cons
The stated primary goal is to improve the quarterly stock price. Many mid to upper level managers are more focused on self-preservation than anything else. Employees that work to make things better and more efficient are pushed out. There is no job security as layoffs happen regularly and seem to affect people at random, including top performers. Many managers have no idea what actually goes on in their department. Some IT leaders view the business as idiots and do not collaborate, in fact these leaders are the ones working their own agenda of self preservation. These same leaders cover up problems in their departments and to not report them unless it can be used to damage a rival. Innovation is discouraged unless it happens in a business unit designated to innovate. Moral is low.
