Pros

Beautiful office. Some great people to work with. I enjoyed working with my clients and using the platform.

Cons

Celtra prides themselves on their "culture" when they do not have any. Most come in, stay in their comfort zone and remain cliquey. There was not a genuine sense of connection between departments, which I found odd being such a small office. No opportunity for growth. Managers have favorites regardless of work ethic. Little to no organization or communication within teams. New hires coming in and out frequently. Found to be lot's of politics and some issues with the CEO, ex: calling some employees "dogs".

We are sorry to hear your experience at Celtra was not a positive one. We do pride ourselves on culture and it is something we continuously strive to grow and improve. We encourage every single person to be part of a collaborative office environment, to influence the vibe, and to share ideas and suggestions on how we, as a team, can do even better. New employees are introduced to the entire office, and paired with a number of team members who help to ensure they are set up for success through trainings, cultural adaptation, and office activities, as we want every employee to get a true sense of the Celtra team and shared mission from day one. It’s quite disheartening to hear the accusation of our CEO "calling some employees dogs”, as this is far from the truth and by no means the type of behavior that is displayed nor tolerated within the organization. We would like to make it super clear that our CEO has the utmost respect for not only our employees, but also our partners, customers, and the human race in general. We are both proud of and inspired by our CEO as a leader; a person who possesses an open-minded, patient, and entrusting approach, while still maintaining his agility, ambition and winning mindset; a person who has put a tremendous amount of effort into curating a team who holds similar values to help effectively drive the team to success with every opportunity we get.

Pros

Founder led company who tries to do right by their employees, investors, partners and customers in a competitive ad-tech industry. They had the foresight and passion to lead people to make a revolutionary product at a revolutionary time in the industry. And now they are doing the same again. It can be challenging but they are the same people. Some of these comments about the new product seem critical, and there is some truth to them, but they tend to also ignore the other truths: making a new product is not linear. There's a curve. Sometimes the bend happens earlier, and others later. Right now the new product is buttery smooth and enjoyable to use. And it's getting better! I can feel the bend.

Cons

Founders are real people. They are not Consultants. They are not cookie cutter MBAs. This is not a company where change management happens from disconnected consultants who are paid to be change agents. Instead they invest in us, people with shared motivations and feelings, to be that change. Can it be messy? Yes. Will you need to be the best version of yourself? Yes. Will you become that person? I sure hope so.

Pros

You learn the value of equality and inclusivity.

Cons

The work culture is terribly toxic. A biased attitude is common, and people of color have the worst assignments. The deadlines are unreal, the stress is insane, and if you raise your voice, the arrogant leadership will push you out the door.
