Pros

Engineers in Europe are humble and great to work with

Cons

Politics through the roof. CEO has serious trust and control issues — Eng called at home 5 levels below. Why couldn’t their mgmt do that ? Why bypass all the levels which are there for a reason? Executive trust at an all time low … 50%… that’s an internal metric so if anything it’s inflated. Massive tech debt and horrible leadership decisions. Good luck!

Hi - thank you for sharing your feedback, although we're disheartened to hear about your negative experience at Celonis. We take all feedback seriously as we strive to create a positive and supportive work environment for all employees. We appreciate your acknowledgment of the talented engineers in Europe. Collaboration and drive are values we hold in high regard, and we're glad to hear that you found those qualities among your colleagues. Celonis is going through a time of change, and with that comes some growing pains. Pros

Unlimited PTO and smart people, who unfortunately are leaving.

Cons

Sales and technical teams are not always set up to succeed together, which creates unnecessary pressure on technical teams and contributes to burnout. There is a strong focus on growth, but employee retention does not receive the same attention. Compensation is not always competitive, and career advancement processes can feel inconsistent depending on the opportunities available to you. All approvals run up to founder level.
