Is anyone making money here except the top leadership? Comp ratios are not good and, with unattainable goals, there is minimal ability to make the variable.
And a non-exhaustive list of additional cons to note:
• leadership focuses on numbers over people - and it shows
• significant employee turnover - making it difficult to get things done and/or get up to speed when you join (read: chaos)
• poor pay, particularly for those who have been with the company a while. Even when transferring departments or being promoted, a small cap is mandated for salary increases.
• lack of communication and transparency around company changes, which encourages very low employee morale
• programs are overengineered and unnecessarily complex
• even at this company size, there is a ton of confusion around roles and stepping on toes. This is not only inefficient but creates internal conflict. (Anyone know of a solution to make a company work more efficiently??)
• partner GTM motions conflict with our sales teams (also inefficient, causing internal conflict but apparently the CRO "likes the tension")
• given the above, the culture is awful...
¤ and that's what happens when you bring on "leaders" from companies with poor work cultures.
