Pros

Early Celonis gave young SEs a shot at selling to top brass at the biggest companies. Going to work where everyone was consistently giving their all for an awesome product was an unrivaled experience. Sure, we all knew we were underpaid, the stock options were non-competitive, and the benefits were average - but we also had no experience and were ready to learn from the best.

Cons

Unfortunately that was where the story ends for most of us in NA. Years after consistently closing the biggest deals in company history, the compensation stagnated, the benefits marginally increased, and only a few marked winners saw their careers take off. The rest of us went review cycle after review cycle without warranted promotions and pay increases- when another company came around offering market pay and competitive equity, it was time to go.

We are happy to hear that you had an unrivaled experience working with us while giving your all for our award-winning process mining technology. Our Compensation and Benefits team works diligently to provide our employees with the compensation they deserve, including salaries as well as benefits. This team is currently establishing a new company-wide and best-in-class salary structure, as well as stock option packages, an employee referral bonus, and more. We continuously strive to engage in ongoing conversations and feedback sessions amongst team members and managers, which is emphasized by our program, CeloVate, to enhance performance management and cover topics such as these. We will continue to provide Celonauts with the opportunity to accelerate the hyper growth of their career as well as Celonis. Best, Friederike (Talent Acquisition)

Pros

Unlimited PTO and smart people, who unfortunately are leaving.

Cons

Sales and technical teams are not always set up to succeed together, which creates unnecessary pressure on technical teams and contributes to burnout. There is a strong focus on growth, but employee retention does not receive the same attention. Compensation is not always competitive, and career advancement processes can feel inconsistent depending on the opportunities available to you. All approvals run up to founder level.
