Pros

Incredible product, measurable value for C-Level cycles, partner ecosystem strategy is pretty impressive for a company this size, strong list of customers and brands

Cons

Celonis is facing much more than growing pains. The new sales leadership has created a brow beating and fear based culture and morale is lower than ever. Comp plan is weak and the overall pay is low, Celonis has always been known this for this. Equity is almost non existent even for top performers. Customer delivery is broken and expansions are very hard. Flooding the market with reps and territories are getting squeezed. There is no time to sell here

Thank you for taking the time to provide your feedback. You’ve been with Celonis for a few years already because you believe in the product. As Celonis is growing internationally, structures and internal processes need to be established to guarantee a sustainable growth. This is of course a change in circumstances compared to a few years ago, but all for the benefits of the company and its employees. Regarding the CMO search: We agree, that this is an important role. However, we preferred to take the right decision and hire the best person rather than hiring fast. Now, we can confirm that the role has been filled - it will be publicly announced very soon. Feel free to reach out to me or your manager/ person of trust to take a conversation offline. Best, Kevin Blair, VP Celonis

Pros

Unlimited PTO and smart people, who unfortunately are leaving.

Cons

Sales and technical teams are not always set up to succeed together, which creates unnecessary pressure on technical teams and contributes to burnout. There is a strong focus on growth, but employee retention does not receive the same attention. Compensation is not always competitive, and career advancement processes can feel inconsistent depending on the opportunities available to you. All approvals run up to founder level.
