Pros
- Great people and fun events
- A lot of exposure to developing, testing, and shipping features across a range of technologies. Allows devs to take responsibility for their work.
- No guarantee but WFH has been consistent through the pandemic and doesn't look like changing anytime soon
- Flat hierarchy in engineering. Everyone can express an opinion and have it taken on board. Upper engineering is very open to helping less experienced devs.
- Great city center location that is available if you want to go in.
Cons
- Salary is not competitive
- No base benefits on offer. Some small ones can be negotiated but employees are told to not let others know they're on offer.
- Legal minimum paid time off
- HR is lacking. Every request seems like a struggle.
- Can be a bit chaotic reaching deadlines for customers. This seems to often come from a lack of communication between sales and engineering teams.
