A toxic working environment where no one knows what they do. Apart from one or two managers who are doing anything they can to save this sinking ship, rest are delusional and oblivious to what is happening on the ground.
Most people are not made for positions they are appointed in. The HR is a real mess, absolute mess. Group leaders are not fit to the position, the basics of management skills need to be spelled out to them. Sad part is that they are the ones who are guiding some brilliant scientists and principal scientists who clearly understand the job better.
The company lacks system in every little corner. HR, communication, etc. The yearly evaluation of employees is a total joke. Goals are set by company itself for employees. So as an employee you dont set your goals. you are basically set for failure! Seems like a scam, so you will never get a raise or promotion.
Since the change of CEO, rounds of layoffs happened, one worse than last one. You are expected to cover multiple positions and work long hours but nothing gets back to you. no promotion, no raise , pathetic increase (100 bucks) salary increase....
Toxic is the word to describe the culture
