Pros
-The actual workers are great. -Relaxed environment when the CEO is out of the office -You will experience most areas of IT -Free lunch on Fridays, but it has to be healthy
Cons
-CEO is not a leader and will fire you just because -The Pay is not even the national average for job title/duties -No training - CEO believes that if you want to better yourself for the company, you will do it on your own time with your own money -CEO constantly harasses employees who he does not have a good relationship with (i.e. - an attempt to push them out the door; get them to quit) -Job description doesn't cover all of the random duties that you will be assigned -No promotions within as the CEO does not believe in job titles, but he will make sure everyone knows that he is the CEO -Lack of communication within "leadership" department -No HR department to formally file a complaint -CEO will kick you out of his office if you attempt to file a complaint -CEO has stated several times that he does not care if everyone quits - he does not care -Benefits are horrible - I only know of one person out of several that actually use them and it's vision only -There is an IRA option, but company will only match the minimum up to a certain ammount -High stress -Constant changes regarding procedures/policies -Either no documentation or documentation is spread throughout the network - either way, nothing standardized -New hire process is a joke - no organization at all -Security measures not followed -Did I mention that the CEO has no leadership qualities? He does what he wants, when he wants, regardless of the consequences or what his "team" has to say -This company is the absolute worst IT company to work for and there are at least seven others (that I know without a shadow of a doubt) that agree with everything I have mentioned above -Constant weekend work without compensation (either pay or time off)
