Pros

Most coworkers are nice and friendly Teams leads are helpful and try their best Flexible with schedule and time off requests If you want to work your way up there are opportunities for advancement if you stay long enough If you stay motivated and show interest in getting signed off on everything you will be favored Slow and chill some days Lots to learn if you have no medical experience and each day is different Good for students Overtime is nice when busy

Cons

Super low wage for what you do across all departments except Study Management department for some reason? High turnover so on busy days if you are signed off on a lot you will have a very stressful day On the busy days you will probably not get a lunch Training doesn't adequately prepare you for how fast paced the floor is Low pay again- biggest problem I think No consequences for call outs and low performers Young coworkers so some are not very professional Annual raise is so low! Most people I asked got 2-3% and don't even give bonuses or anything like that Variable employee hours are very low when slow

Pros

Really decent benefits ,GRATE Facilities ( Building Maintiance) Supervisor, GRATE Director that is in charge at out 2 Tempe properties! I love the company work environment

Cons

My interview and job offer were around the first of the month, I was told by HR That My start date would be as soon as I was able to accept the job offer and once my background check came back. I was called back a few minutes later and asked if I could start almost 2 weeks later........Unknowing that my start date was the last day of the facilities tech's that I was replacing. So I LITERALLY GOT 2 1/2 hours on a job that has Weekly, Monthly, Quartly, Semi annual and annual inspections on some appliances, Systems and areas that I was and am not familiar with or that Vendors were called in for at all the other facilities that I work for in all the yeaars I have done maintaince for in the past. So I have to ask questions ALL the time because I did not receive a proper 2 week training period, Why I was hired this way I do not know but feel I was setup for failure and am under constiant stress, and feel like a TOTAL failure because I am running behind 100% of the time. I take care of my 80 year old father who has onset dementia when I am not at work. So no real training and being behind all the time has taken its toll on me mentally and physically. ( This has only been MY PERSONAL exp. I am told IT'S NOT COMMON practice )

Pros

Serves as a decent place to get baseline industry experience on your resume before moving elsewhere. The direct team leads and peer-level colleagues are understanding and pleasant to work with.

Cons

Client-facing demands combined with aggressive study timelines often lead to heavy workloads and long hours.Resourcing can be tight, meaning PMs frequently have to act as both strategic leaders and administrative coordinators. Quarterly updates are disconnected always touting quarter after quarter/ year after year revenue records while running their staff into burnout with the mentality of less is more or better yet "scalability"
