Thank you for taking time to provide a review of our site here in Richmond. I’m glad to read that you enjoyed the work that we do and found it interesting. I’m sorry to read that your experience with management wasn’t as positive as you had hoped. I’m a firm believer that engaging in thoughtful dialog tends to resolve most issues and wish you would have given me, or our Human Resources department, and opportunity to assist in finding a solution to your concerns while you were here. As you suggested, we took the opportunity to speak with your peers and it seems as if they do not share your opinion of management. This was an excellent opportunity to learn from our staff. We learned that things are not perfect here, but they do not match your characterization. It is a requirement that management meet with each of their direct reports monthly to discuss performance but also to discuss issues that are important to them including professional development opportunities and areas of concern. We try to foster an environment of honest and consistent communications so that at a minimum our employees have a safe space to discuss matters that concern them monthly. We have a fantastic team, and the team was fantastic with you on it. The members of our team value traits such as integrity, accountability, and team work. We have in the past, and will continue to prioritize training all of our staff, management included, on the pillars of healthy organizations such as how to foster positive relationships and reinforcing positive communications. Thank you for taking the time to rate our site and we will use it to continually improve in all aspects of what we do.
