Pros

Even after being employed elsewhere, I waited before writing this response as there were really no positive outcomes to describing this company in full. However, after some consideration, perhaps this experience would be useful to another person considering working in Cejon's corporate office. Summary: Be EXTREMELY careful about which department you will end up working for. Your experience will be dramatically different depending on this. It is the reason why some departments end up skipping lunch every day and working 14 hours a day while other departments gather around for lunch and leave on time. - Benefits are not competitive when compared with other companies with similar levels of funding, but they are adequate. - Depending on your department, people can be friendly and approachable. - Many employees have been there for many years, resulting in supportive communities in several departments.

Cons

- Outdated technical systems in every way you can think of (Manager has never used google docs, and did not understand the benefit of multi-user editing) - Extremely resistant to improvement changes in workflow, technology and leadership, even when it will result in long-term savings of employee time and reduction in company budget. - The company seemed very focus on short-term gains. - Company wanted to enter luxury/contemporary market but was utterly unprepared in target market research, luxury culture and ways to engage buyers in a new brand. - Odd organizational structures such as departments with only an assistant, a VP and a temp. - Transparency and constructive feedback is non-existent. (Direct manager didn't know what glassdoor was.) - Certain managers seem completely out of touch with the processes that support their decision making, resulting in unrealistic deadlines and unnecessary administration.

Pros

During the rush season you will be able to do a lot of overtime if you desire too...

Cons

Unfortunately the Bayonne warehouse is 98%, Hispanic, 1% Caucasian, 1% African American... if you are a minority, 98% of the time you will not advance in the company....
