Avoid - disastrous business - Account Manager Caxton Payments Employee Review

Where to begin... Moral is generally low and most people are thinking about the next step in their career as they know this business will struggle to stay around for years to come. The business is about as FinTech as an abacus! The CEO thinks he is a celebrity and refers to the business as a innovative start-up, the business is 14 years old and lacks the basics that a new start-up would have in place by month 3. Poor decision making driven by ego has lead to a decline in growth... It's clear that some people have only got to their senior positions based on length of service, not ability or merit. The most obvious weakness is the leadership of Operations (as other reviews have mentioned) - there is more of a focus on unwashed cups in the kitchen sink than the huge number of complaints and missed phone calls. Operations like to laugh...loudly - like a hyena. The business makes frequent bizarre decisions and planning is non-existent. If you want a good laugh guess which review on here is clearly written by the CEO himself... Leaving this business was the best decision I ever made!
